Alcohol

No it’s not a rant, but it is a $240 Billion problem for the country each and every year. Let’s take a look.

Colorado over the last 20 years has move alcohol sales into grocery stores. This set of images shows the result. The alcohol recovery community is finally pushing back, noting the the ongoing costs to society is not properly appreciate when stores are allowed to entice and induce people to buy and consumer alcoholic beverages. The longstanding system of selling alcohol in liquor stores — with the work LIQUOR in bright letters above the door — allowed the recovery community to stay well away from these products. Kroger, Whole Foods, Safeway, and the rest have a different plan, which is to make it impossible to shop without tripping over bottles, bags, and boxes of alcohol. Cheers!
